Modern educational theory stresses that school education is no longer completely isolated or independent acts. It requires a wide range of organic coordination and close cooperation and interaction. The interactive fusion of school education, family education and social education has become an important symbol of modern education. To China’s high school education, a qualified high school graduate should have not only a good sense of innovation, social responsibility and market competition but also values of legislation and ethic. And the cultivation of these qualities can’t be accomplished by school education alone. It depends on the parents and the community to a large extent for their right concepts of education, talent and quality. It also partly depends on good education home-school collaboration. Therefore, how to enhance effective home-school interaction, promote effective integration of educational efforts and promote the development of youth is an important research subject of current educational reform.At present, Luogang District of Guangzhou city is in rapid development of industrialization and urbanization, and significant changes have taken place in various aspects, such as the regional population structure, village layout, ideology and economic level. Thus high school education in this district is facing many new problems. Home-school interactive work lags far behind what is needed under this situation. This issue is mainly manifested in the following aspects:School can’t fully play the role of guiding and serving in home-school interaction. Families lack of methodology in home-school interaction. They raise children but not teach them or teach with wrong methods and emphasize on intellectual but neglect of moral education. Community’s educational function and cultural function are not fulfilled. In addition, there are also systematic issues and organizational issues in home-school interaction. To solve these problems, the author researched the high schools in Luogang District of Guangzhou City. The existing theories related to home-school interaction and experience in home and abroad are referred. Research methods such as literature analysis, questionnaires and interviews are employed. The author collected the information of situation and problems in home-school interaction of high schools in the district, analyzed the cause and obstacles in aspects of home-school coordination, socio-economic and policy systems, community education and culture in order to explore the countermeasures of promoting home-school interaction in the high schools in Luogang District under the background of high-speed economic development and urbanization. The countermeasures are explored mainly from the aspects of role orientation, content and form, organizational and institutional building and community education functionality of home-school interaction. This paper also tends to stimulate public further theoretical discussion on this issue thus promote home-school interaction in Luogang area.
