| Currently, vocational education in China is in a stage of profound change, problem-based learning (PBL) is one of the leading concept in this important change. PBL, not only canlet students to acquire flexible knowledge and develop high-level thinking skills, but also canincrease the ability of problem-solving and enhance self-learning ability. In vocational educationschool, they copy the PBL teaching method without consider their students’ characteristics, soit’s difficult to achieve the desired results. Edutainment as an education means, it is accord withthe idea of "student-centered" and "promote the life experience and fun ", and people are paymore attention to it, for the vocational education students, edutainment will be a method that isworth to attempt. Therefore, take computer courses for example, research on PBL model invocational education is very important.The main work and achievements are as follows:1. With the basic aspects of PBL teaching, analysis the professional competence structure,carry out a PBL process that is more suitable for vocational education.2. Inspired by entertainment, combined with the vocational education students’characteristics, recommend some instructional strategy to create an edutainment environment toimprove the PBL teaching environment.3. Teach “Network Hardware†in secondary vocational school and “InformationTechnology†in junior college as two cases to verify this study’s feasibility and effectiveness. |
