Since the police of universities’enlarging the scale of student-enrollment in1999, more and more people have gained the chance of accepting higher education, which makes the China high education entering the popularization stage and developing quickly. At the same time, the employment system for graduates has changed, which transformed from the stage of traditional "national unified distribution" to the stage of market-oriented "independent-choosing profession". The reform of the employment system brings opportunities and great employment pressure for the agricultural graduates. As a large agricultural nation, the rural economics develops slowly, and the agricultural science and technology is not developed and the talent is few. At the same time, the agricultural graduates have the great employment pressure and the employment condition is also not good.Based on this background and the research, this article points out the total employment situation in China and the status of agricultural graduates’employment with the application documents analysis first. The overall employment situation is faced with the excessive supply of population and human resource, the urban registered unemployment rate rising, the employment project of laid-off workers in the government institutions and organs and the state-owned enterprises, the great pressure of a large number of rural surplus labor force transferring to the city, agricultural graduates are facing with a rising number of the university graduates and employment structure projecting problem. Then according to the human capital theory and the labor market segmentation theory, it analyses the reason which affects their employment:The policy of universities’enlarging has drastically increased the number of higher students, which makes the college enrollment rate is higher than the rate of growth in employment opportunities, so the graduates are hard to find the jobs. At the same time, the undeveloped of higher education reform, employment guidance, entrepreneurship education also stop the agricultural graduates’ employment. The employment policy has changed the employment system, and the graduates’employment idea is still behind, so the graduates can’t adapt of this change. Institutional reform is not in place dividing the main and subsidiary labor market. The enterprises from mail market set up obstacle to lower the employment of agricultural graduates due to the over number of the graduates, and in the subsidiary labor market, industry structure is irrational, mode of production is backward, which can’t attract the agricultural graduates. Also the prospects of the subsidiary labor market are not bright and starting an enterprise is also difficult. The condition is too bad and salary is too low, so the agricultural graduates don’t want to work in these companies, especially to the graduates coming from villages as their family background is weak. According to the research, besides the normal problem of employment of the graduates, there is the especial problem for them. The article gives the suggestion according to the especial problem by the Literature analysis, systems analysis, comparative law:Adjusting the rural industrial structure to promote the development of rural economy. Transform the way of development in agricultural to realize the agricultural modernization. Seize the opportunity of new countryside construction to promote agricultural graduates to join the new rural construction. Support the rural entrepreneurship of agricultural graduates.
