Fitness Qigong is a wonderful work in Chinese traditional sports culture. It takes anvery important position in the spreading process of Chinese Wushu culture. It has amore and more wider influence toward the whole world. In recent years, Qigongpromotion activities, with the help of TV program, are popular among people andtaken seriously by the whole country. How to make full use of television medium toget the maximum promotion of fitness Qigong turns to a hot topic for the academicresearch. Therefore, this paper, on the basis of journalism, communication,management, marketing and sports science and other related disciplines, using themethods of literature study, investigation, logical analysis mainly discusses thecurrent situation, theory and strategy of Qigong TV promotion,According to the analysis of current situation, the main problems in Qigong TVpromotion are: the TV program are weak, the lack of professional program host, thebroadcasting forms are single, the corporate identity is not high, viewers have a lowersatisfaction on teaching or news program, adolescents don’t have enoughenthusiasm to practice Qigong.etc. The causes of the above mentioned issues are:Fitness Qigong promotion has a low tacit agreement with the TV media. Thebroadcasting mode has a big limitation. Views have a collective aphasia toward theprograms, the lack of teaching strength, the weakness of brand program construction.In order to improve the television media promotion of Fitness Qigong, we need tostart with the basic theory and the basic elements of the research. Symbiosis theory,audience demand theory and the visual effect theory are three fundamental theories topromote the Fitness Qigong. This paper explained the philosophy, sociology andcommunication basics of Fitness Qigong promotion. From the analysis of elements,audience, discuss, language, moderator, style, entertainment, symbol and brandbuilding are the basic elements of improving the promotion effect of Fitness Qigong.According to the related theory of Fitness Qigong promotion, the main promotionstrategies in our country can be summarized as follows: First, achieve the WIN-WINon the symbiotic relationship between Fitness Qigong promotion and TV media.Second, try to meet the different needs of views in the social function. Third, payattention to the change of program style on the Fitness Qigong promotion. Fourth, develop the entertainment function on education effect. Fifth, enlarge the symbolfunction in technical means. Sixth, improve the brand building on the TV program.This study puts forward the six strategies and its implementation method. The authorhopes it can provide useful references on the strengthen of Health Qigong promotionand brand building.
