Health Qigong plays a vital role in our country, as a special health preserving method, ithas a long and profound history. With the diversified development of the society, Health Qigonghas already had a broad mass base due to its diversity, simple and effect. Popularization ofHealth Qigong is an applied study based on reality, which is intended to systematically look intoand sort out the problems in the process of its popularization, provide strategic support for it byemploying theoretical ideas from relevant subjects,and serve the popularization reality.Based on the prior foundlings and knowledge, the popularization strategies of HealthQigong include: literature review, logical analysis, and,comparison. Using the experience ofTaijiquan and yoga, the present paper analyses the present problems of Health Qigongpopularization, and provides references for its development. This research, based on thecommunication theory, sees through the appearance to get at the essence,optimizes thecommunication content, ways and strategies, hopefully, we can contribute to the Health Qigongdevelopment theoretically.On the bases of the existing results, the present paper summarizes major problems of HealthQigong development and popularization. The results are as follows: excellent Health Qigongtalent is insufficient tomeet the requirements, inefficient publicity limits its popularization,failure of mufti-layered publicity structure, narrow audience and unreasonable age structure,poor creativity to adapt to modern life, related product is so little that the economic and socialefficiency is low. In the light of these problems,this study combines above mentioned theory andpractice and puts forward the following strategies:1.Training of talented Health Qigongpersonnel. Insufficient excellent Health Qigong talent has become major factor which restrain itshigher level development, it has been found that social sports instructor should be cultivated topromote their professional accomplishment, meanwhile, they should be instructed to payattention to communication and feedback in teaching, We must keep abreast of the latest needsand advice of the accepters.2. Strengthening publicity to stimulate demand. Strengthening thepublicity is a major method to enhance fame and gain recognition. So we should make good useof media to widen publicity scope to let it develop scientifically under regulations, and make the most of new media to explore popularization ways so as to form publicity net for HealthQigong.3.Integrating the resources with market as the orientation to expand popularizationchannels. Take nation as the dominant factor and gradually increase other promotional ways suchas clubs. Expand popularization channels to build up its market adaptivecapacity.4.Consolidating middle aged and elderly audience and expanding its scope to the youth.Cater to the different physical and psychological needsof different aged consumers throughcreativity, develop Health Qigong promotion in colleges and universities, extend its scope ofaudience.5.Strengthening the development of related product. The development of professionalHealth Qigong clothes, teaching materials and books and other product are helpful to increasethe economic and social efficiency.
