It is not good for students to cultivate their mathematical thinking ability just by depending on teachers’giving examples, students’imitation practice and homework doing in order to mater, consolidate and use mathematics knowledge. It’s proved that variable type of teaching can help students profoundly realize the essential characteristics of mathematical. In order to let variable type of teaching achieve better teaching effect, we should pay attention to the problem choosing of variable type of teaching and time handling, in other words, we should design variable type of teaching content of a high level based on the need of mathematics teaching.We could learn the progress of related studies by means of the existing literature resources and screen theoretical basis, we shoud analyze high school mathematics variable type of teaching status through how teachers develop variable type of teaching through classroom observation, then find out the principles, characteristics, operation points and problems which should be paid attention to; and explore the common things and find out general rules through analysis of high school mathematics variable type of teaching cases.(1) We analyze the concepts of variants and variable type of teaching and offer related theoretical basis of mathematical variable type of teaching based on the existing research foundation.(2) We select variable type of teaching cases and summarize mathematical teaching principle, plans and forms of applied mathematics classroom teaching by combining the teaching practice of high school.(3) We analyze and conclude some of the problems which need being paid attention to through some practical cases of high school mathematics variable type of teaching.What this research inspire us is that in our actual math variable type of teaching, teachers should carefully design the subject of type, guide students to find out the essential characters of keeping things unchanged through a series of changes step by step, and make further explorations of the phenomenon and rules of changes.
