Questioning is an important part in the ideological and political classroom teaching of high school, also plays an important role in teaching. Effective classroom questioning is the main form in the interaction between teacher and students. It not only can achieve teaching objectives and stimulate students’ thinking, but also increase the interest of learning. Therefore, the optimization of classroom questioning should be the key to optimize the ideological and political classroom teaching.On the basis of questionnaires and classroom observation, in view of the problems of the classroom questioning, according to the requirements of the new curriculum reform and teaching practice, it proposes optimization strategies of high school ideological and political classroom questioning:first, design the point of questions, and constantly study the materials and students; Second, optimize the speech and nonverbal behavior, grasp the degree of good questions, deal with the different types of problems and leave students enough time to reflect; Third, pay attention to the process of evaluation and the art of evaluation when encouraging students; Fourth, emphasize on the cultivation of the awareness of students’ problems, create an harmonious environment, do preview, teach methods and guide reflection. It hopes that such exploration and reflection can provide useful lessons to promote the development of the new curriculum reform.
