In today’s educational environment of multi-learning, cooperative learning is one ofthe common teaching methods in a school’s educational activities. In order to completethe learning task of the team, the students, with a clear division of responsibilities, helpeach other during the multi-learning process. The team usually carries out the learningactivities by groups. This topic aims to discuss the advantages and problems of“cooperative learning by groups” to the Primary Labor and Skill and its solutions.The essay studies the status of cooperative learning in the Primary Labor and Skillthrough literature search, questionnaires and interviews. According to the study, thecooperative learning contributes to transform the competition between individuals intothe competition between groups; to cultivate the spirit of cooperation and the sense ofcompetition of the students; and also to teach students in accordance with their aptitudes,which helps to give proper room for each student’s development. But the cooperativelearning has also its disadvantages, for example, it doesn’t give the students enoughtime for thinking and the equal opportunities to participate in; besides, the teacher mayalso find difficulty in grasping their role. While analyzing the problems carefully, wefind that the solution lies in its effective implementation strategy,which may beconcluded into three steps as follows:1. Content selection, which means to sort outdifferent paradigms of classes of the Primary Labor and Skill, such as the classes ofpreparation、assembling、design and synthesis, and to raise new requirements ofcooperation for different classes.2. Job design. The effectiveness of job design is also ameasure of the effect of classroom instruction, so it is necessary to design personalizedand valuable jobs for different classes.3. Evaluation concern, which aims to test theresults of cooperative learning. It includes the self-evaluation、the evaluation betweenstudents and the one between teachers and students.
