It is important and practical to have a research on school-basededucation research about English teaching in primary school. On onehand, with the development of the reform of the curriculum, thedevelopment of primary English teachers becomes urgent. EfficientSchool-based Education Research About English Teaching in PrimarySchool can accelerate the pace of professional development of theteachers. On the other hand, the quality of English teaching in primaryschools depends on efficient School-based Education Research. Althoughmost of the schools are carrying out researches to improve the teachingquality, not all the teaching practice benefit. It’s urgent and important tohave a research on the state of school-based education research toimprove the efficiency of it and thus improve the teaching quality.The author takes15primary schools in Binhu District, Wuxi asexamples to analyze the changes in teaching qualities in the last5yearsand the practice of their school-based education researches. Methods aretaken to analyze the components like key components, courses, methods, evaluation and so on of the school-based education research to find thekeys to high efficiency.In the end, the author puts forward some proposals that first theteachers should find and solve the most important problems according toschool’s reasonable development requirements, and secondly theactivities of the research should start from the needs of the teachers’willingness to develop, and that the evaluation should enhance teamworktogether with individual development.
