| This article took the project manager of the construction industry as research object, chose one hundred project managers whose project is under constructing as sample in Xi’an, and investigated the questionnaire surveys and interviews in them. This paper analyzed the general relation situation of the project managers, general situation of the relationship object, the construction process of relation network, the acknowledge of the relationship to have a rounded analysis and a summarize of the relationship. Based on generalizing the characteristic of the project manager’s relation network and the process of construction the relation network, combined with the relationship between network theory to explore the result when these two theories perform on the individual project manager and the corresponding theoretical application.We found that the number of personnel of the project manager network of relationships is higher than other industries, and short-term, high frequency of contact is the interaction characteristics of their relationship. The frequent change part of the network of relationships and cultural variation in levels of the relationship between network objects.Project manager have an experienced profound understanding of the relationship and the use of the relationship, and they have a higher degree of recognizing the instrumental role of the relationship. In theory, Granovetter present strong or weak relationship measure gauge didn’t response the project manager strong and weak relationships, and the use of the relationship also have different format.Burt’s structural holes theory in the embodiment of the project manager is much in line with its status quo,but the project manager still need to improve the application of this theory.On the basis of the above analysis,we summarized how the project managers build a more effective network of relationships and discussed the direction of how to further the structural hole theory. |
