Life Education is an educational activity which designed to help students understand life, Cherish life, Respect for life, passion for life, Improve the survival skill and Enhance the quality of life. Education must respect for life, for the integrity and value.This is the rational background and practical demands oflife education.The establishment of the Life Education is based on each individual,is inevitably concerned about the life.The textbook is the theory most directly to the carrier and results,is the most reliable.The textbook is not only important material for teachers to teach lessons, but also for students to acquire knowledge and skills,to acquire the formation process and methods,to develop attitudes and values. Compilation of Life Education textbook for the primary and secondary school has a long history in the United States and other countries,Taiwan and other regions to obtain better results in recent years.However,the preparation of the life education materials just started in Mainland of China,applications is only limited to some provinces.Therefore,this study has a strong significance of theoretical and practical.Based on documentary method, comparative Study Method,case study method as well as other relevant methods. Comprehensive education, philosophy, ethics, curriculum theory,psychology and other related theories.This paper analyzesthe Junior high school Chinese life education textbooks"Life and health knowledge" and "Life is a tree of mixed fruit"in Hong Kong, taking the textbooks published respectively by Geological Publishing House and Wen Lin Publisher Ltd for an example. Trying at the theoretical level for the two areas of life education materials in the preparation of the differences and provide recommendations.The thesis is made up of five parts as follow.The first Part is introduetion; the second is comparison of Chinese life education textbooks’form the guiding ideology in Junior high school between Hunan and Hong Kong;the third is comparison of Chinese life education textbooks’form structure in Primary school between Chinese Mainland and Hong Kong;the fourty is comparison of Chinese textbooks’unit content in Primary sehool between Hunan and HongKong;the last Part is conelusions and suggestions.
