Since the government implemented the free normal education policy from2007the education of normal students at public expense has caught much attention. Many researches on them such as "willingness to teach","motivation to learn" and "ideological trends" look endless, which lay out a group image of them:they are the representatives of excellent students and excellent normal students, they enjoy the preferential policies and special care during school. After graduation they will take the mission to teach and grow into educator. For this exemplary role of them, the government placed high hopes that they can study hard, strive to exercise the teaching skills, go back to hometown with compliance and contribute to the development of basic education. Whether the normal students will treasure the college life, plan a scientific teaching career and dedicate life-long service to education, it depends largely on how their thinking and moral values which are formed during school, and also the thinking and moral values will affect their career and life direction. The reason why start from the cultivation of sense of gratitude of the normal students at public expense is based on the worries about the sense of gratitude of this group, the development of their healthy personality and on the judgment of their special role in society. And also hope that gratitude education becomes the breaking point of the moral education of them.This research is carried out on the moral education management theory and the main line of the research is the current situation of the gratitude sense of the normal students at public expense and their evaluation on the gratitude education in colleges. We also need to make a clear understanding of the necessity and meaning of the cultivation of the sense of gratitude of them, and take it as the important evidence to optimize the gratitude education management. This study found that there is room for improvement in the gratitude sense of the normal students but gratitude education in college has failed to achieve the desired effect. And the questionnaire survey and interviews in the second of the third chapter revealed the reasons why gratitude education in college failed:have no idea of the normal students’individual needs and differences, can’t make full use of object management and plan management methods in the process of gratitude education. In order to solve the above problems,the forth chapter of this paper fits the weak point of the gratitude education in colleges and proposed three methods:we should accurately grasp the object of the gratitude education, implement scientific object management and reasonable plan management.Hope that these studies will do some help to the gratitude education in college.
