| The Ping-pang was first called "Table Tennis",which dated from the19thcentury in Britain, then became popular in Europe. From the name we can see thatTennis is the predecessor of table tennis. The twentieth century was an importantperiod for the Ping-pang and played an active role for the development of it. The sportis interesting and easy to learn, which is attracting more and more people. In thetwenty-first century, Ping-pang is even been recognized as one of the most popularsports. The participants can benefit in many ways for it’s fast speed and changingmovement, for example, people’s response capacity and adaptability can be improvedin a short time, as well as their sensitivity of the nervous system and coordination.There’s table tennis singles and doubles, so it can develop people’s both independentand cooperative spirit. In this paper, the research object are the students of Colleges inJiNan who elect the Ping-pang course, from the particular cases of electing the course,we can see the students’ attitudes towards the facilitiesã€the instructions and the couseitself, then the paper can do a direct survey on the status of college Ping-pang sport.From the survey, I found that college Ping-pang’ development faces many problems,especially in public Ping-pang lessons, many aspects need to be improved. We need tostand on a macro view to make the develop strategy of table tennis, in order to guidethe table tennis to step forward on the basis of the existing advantage.From the survey, I draw these conclusions:Firstly, improve the school’s Ping-pang facilities, increase the investment topopularize it, so that students can have good learning and practice environment.Secondly, on the students’ side, we should train their interests and hobbies first, causeinterests and hobbies are the intrinsic motivation for learning, we should cultivatetheir interests in the sport and build up their confidence,help them lay a solidfoundation, and make quality education really melting into college teaching, so thatthe students can play Ping-pang effectively. Thirdly, teachers should constantlyimprove their teaching methods, train students’ Ping-pang awareness, try to form avirtuous circle in teaching process: to enable students to become interested in (findout problems)→begin to explore→put forward hypothesis→practice (verifyhypotheses)→consolidate and improve→born new interests and find new problems→explore again(hypothetical)......and so on……Thirdly, strengthen the managementof table tennis, make extra hours of the course, do not ignore the teaching of theory,teachers should teach comprehensively, so that the students can master the ping-pongtechnique well.Through the paper, I hope that the teaching quality of Ping-pang can beimproved, the reform of Ping-pang teaching can be driven, and the sport of Ping-pangcan be carry out successfully among colleges. |
