The school sports as an important part of higher education play an important role in cultivating the sense of overall development of compound talent that needs moral, intellectual and physical development of talent, physical and psychological health,competition and pioneering spirit high thigh-quality compound talented people,which our country needs. Combining the interesting and adversarial of basketball itself, it is in the leading position of sports development, which liked by many students. Well, normal universities are bases for teachers training for primary and secondary schools. Teachers who engaged in the most glary vocation under the sun has a great mission of imparting knowledge and cultivating people. The training of practice ability, teaching method and the comprehensive quality of the primary and secondary teachers is the key link for the healthy and stable development of our country. Youth as the future of our country is in the key period of body development and the forming of the out looking of world and on life and values,so the correct and science sports education concept has an important meaning on the overall development on the youth’s health.In order to understanding the situation of the sports professional basketball teaching of Shanghai nonnal universities more clearly, in order to make the existing teaching idea in primary and secondary schools more suitable to the new curriculum reform and in order to basketball education in school can get more orderly and healthy development. This use of literature, interviews, questionnaire survey, logical analysis,mathematical statistics and other research methods, in many Shanghai universities, the extraction of the sports institute of Shanghai normal universities and primary and secondary schools in Shanghai, as a specific investigation of the sample object, Shanghai Nonnal Universities Class for the state of basketball teachers’ team, teaching situation, student status and the teaching practice of graduates, the class of the basketball course in primary and secondary schools and other aspects of investigation, research and analysis, we can get the following conclusions.The results show that:1.Shanghai Universities sports professional basketball teaching faculty with young teachers mainly, energetic, and having strong ability to innovate generally more reasonable; Gender structure is too reasonable, female teacher is too less;In degree structure based mainly master graduate students, of existing some teachers of bachelor degree, doctor degree teachers are less. Title rate is too low, most teachers are lecturer or associate professor, part of the existing teachers has teaching assistant title, and teachers who have professor title are few. Most of the basketball teachers have higher consciousness and willing to dedicate to the sports scientific research work. Associate professors and lecturers publish more research papers. The opportunity for teachers training to tinker is less. Teachers’ teaching attitude is positive, but teaching methods or teaching based mainly on the traditional type,so that it can’t fully mobilize students’ enthusiasm.2.The basketball teaching goal of professional sports of Shanghai universities is basically definite reasonable, generally speaking it enable the students can master the basic basketball skills and methods,but the cultivating of judgment ability teaching ability, scientific research ability and competition ability of organization and arrangement of the comprehensive ability of students is insufficient. The teaching contents are mainly based on athletic basketball sports, teaching theory study, practice and organization outdoor game. The teaching method can satisfy the basic students learning tasks demand of different time, but lack of innovation, can’t fully mobilize students’ learning subjective initiative. Because of the multimedia teaching technology use is still at the primary stage, it uses less in the basketball teaching practice. Students’ evaluation basic way meets the new "framework" requirement, can make an objective evaluation to the students’learning process and the learning effect; The teacher’evaluation is mainly expert evaluation, The students’ participation level is low, as a result, the evaluation is very subjective. The resources of basketball teaching cannot meet the requirements, further increasing investment in the facilities needed.3. Because of the characteristics of the basketball sports, the proportion of male and female students who choose professional basketball exists a significant difference, girls is less; Most of the students choose professional basketball for the physical and mental health and the love of basketball game.61%of the students can understand the development of the basketball background clearly.80%of the students pay much attention to the global basketball games. Basketball professional students averagely organization basketball games2~3times a week.They mainly through classroom theoretical knowledge, practice, reviewing literatures, watching global basketball games, physical exercise, group discussion, organization competition and some other methods improve their basketball skills.4. According to the new "framework" requirement, the sports professional graduates of Normal Kind of Sports Institute in Shanghai Universities can give priority to students in class with paying more attention to the development of practice ability of students and giving full play to students’ subjective initiative on the basis goal of health. They can make preparations before class combining with the sports skills and knowledge learned in university. But as a result of lacking of experience in teaching, they can’t accurately grasp the learning characteristics of middle and elementary school students, the classroom teaching task may not be finished in time. Comprehensive, rich, and forms of the diversity of teaching contents can make middle and elementary school students have more interests in studying. Under the guidance of the new standard, the basketball knowledge and basketball skills of the primary and middle school students are improved obviously, it is also useful for the primary and middle school students to form the lifetime sports habit and love basketball sport. The evaluation result shows Shanghai normal universities sports professional graduates basically can use the basic knowledge and basketball technology in basketball teaching in the primary and middle schools, the new curriculum teaching can mobilize subjective initiative of the primary and middle school students with Contributing to the primary and middle school students’health and all-round development.5.According to the age difference of the primary, the teachers of Shanghai middle and primary schools, make out different teaching targets and methods, with playing and organization games as the main teaching way which makes the basketball classes are more interesting. Basketball is not in the entrance examination, but basketball is favored by the majority students of primary and middle schools.
