Scientific research team is an important force in the national innovation system. And creativity is important for the survival of the scientific research team, because it is the power and source for the team to take the continuous innovation path. While many scholars have explored the factors affecting creativity, they are mostly limited to one or a combination of several factors. In practice, there are many elements working together in creative. It will be more practical significance to explore their interaction and influence on creativity from the macroscopic view. Psychological contract as a reference to the role of the cognitive model makes it easier for employees to assess the occurrence of events within the scope of work, and it provides clues for the systematic study of creativity. Types of psychological contract based on the content of psychological contract are to classify the important factors concerned by employees. Therefore, the study of different types of psychological contract and their impact on creativity has become an urgent problem of the theoretical and practical issues. This paper select the university scientific research team to be the object for the study, intend to find out the impact of team member perceived psychological contract types ("team’s responsibility" and "member’s responsibility") on two levels of creativity-individual creativity and team creativity, and then take individual creativity as an intermediary variables to analyze how psychological contract type affect team creativity. The questionnaire survey method is used to obtain research data, then correlation analysis and structural equation model is taken for testing the hypothesis and theoretical model via Lisrel8.7and SPSS17.0, finally, guidance and recommendations are provided for the research team building. The main research results are as follows:(1) Psychological contract of the university research team is composed of "team’s responsibility" and "member’s responsibility" perceived by the team members, and both of them can be classified as transactional, relational, and team member dimensions. To the internal structure of the psychological contract, we find that the three dimensions of "team’s responsibility" have reciprocal effects on the three dimensions of "member’s responsibility".(2) From the direct effect of view, different types of psychological contract have different effects on individual creativity and team creativity. The three dimensions of "team’s responsibility" were significantly affected individual creativity; the team member dimension of "team’s responsibility" has a direct positive effect on team creativity; but only the relational dimension of "member’s responsibility" is found to have significant positive correlation on individual creativity and team creativity.(3) The types of psychological contract influence team creativity through the intermediary role of individual creativity, and the intermediary transmission mechanisms are different for every type. Individual creativity plays a completely intermediary role between transactional and relational dimension of "team’s responsibility" and team creativity, while a partial intermediary role between the team member dimension of "team’s responsibility" and the relational dimension of "member’s responsibility" and team creativity.(4) On the whole, the "team’s responsibility" of psychological contract a more significant predictor of individual creativity and team creativity than "member’s responsibility". In the construction and management process, university research team should focus on the psychological contract of the team responsibility to promote the development of team members, promoting team creativity.
