With the advent of knowledge economy and Internet plus era,the rapid development of scientific and technological revolution brought from the great change.The level of scientific creativity of a country is directly related to its social and economic development.At the same time,the organizations' competition presents a new trend: the traditional "individual" competition turns to "team" competition,and the individual "competency" competition turns to "creativity" competition.The team scientific creativity is turned into the key indicator of national scientific and technological competitiveness.Team scientific creativity refers to the intelligent quality or ability of producing scientific achievement with novel and unique social value by teamwork collaboration in the scientific task context under the guidance of leader.In the context of accelerating the implementation of the innovation-driven development strategy,universities of science and engineering are important sources for the high-tech creative achievements.As the "navigator" and "coach" of the undergraduates' science and technology innovation teams,the instructor and the captain play a crucial role in promoting the team scientific creativity.As a team situational factor,leadership style is the core of the team innovation process and the key motivation to motivate team members to innovate.In order to provide empirical basis and theoretical guidance for undergraduates' innovative education,discussing the relationship between leadership style and team scientific creativity is very important from the theoretical and practical perspectives.Based on the trait activation theory perspective,this dissertation used experimental research,questionnaire research and case research in order to reveal the mechanism of leadership style's effect on undergraduate'team scientific creativity mainly through three studies:Study 1: An experimental study of the leadership style's effects on team scientific creativity.This study used experimental research to explore the causal relationship between transformational/transactional leadership and undergraduates' scientific creativity.The results showed that transformational/transactional leadership positively predict the team scientific creativity.Compared with transactional leadership,the effect of transformational leadership on team scientific creativity is more.Study 2: The mechanisms of leadership style's effects on team scientific creativity.This study used questionnaire survey to investigate 131 undergraduate's innovation teams.Based on the trait activation theory perspective,this study discussed the mechanisms of leadership style's effects on team scientific creativity,examining the chain mediation effect of “team psychological capital” and “team flow” and the moderating effect of "team proactive personality".Study 3: A case study of the leadership style's effects on team scientific creativity.This study used qualitative research method,namely the confirmatory case method study,with Beijing Institute of Technology(photoelectric innovation education base for the single case,deeply to confirmed and explained the proposed theoretical model.The innovation points of this dissertation mainly include:(1)The research topic: this dissertation explored the effects of leadership style on the team scientific creativity and introduced the leadership style of enterprise situation into the university.(2)The research perspective: this dissertation explored the mechanism of leadership style on team scientific creativity based on trait activation theory perspective.(3)The research method: using various research methods to examined the mechanism of leadership style on team scientific creativity,including the experimental study with designed measurement tasks,the confirmed case study and the questionnaire surveys.
