A Case Study Of The Affecting Factors Of The Backbone Teachers’ Professional Development

Factors affecting teachers’ professional development is one of the important content of the theory of teachers’ professional development. And play an important role in teachers’development and teachers’construction. Nearly two or three decades, there are many researches on teachers’ professional development. Including the connotation、the stage、the approach and factors affecting of the teachers’development. This paper is based on a backbone teacher as a case, to study the experience from which different role、work and events and what changes from these. So we can find affect factors of backbone teachers’development from these events and changes.This study combing the origin of the backbone teachers, analysis the affecting factors of the backbone teacher’s professional development. On this basis, combined with the existed research to interpret from three dimension, which contains teachers individual, school, family and society.The method of this paper is a case study, information obtained from interviews, observation and documents’collect. Within two months, researcher have several interviews, data collected classified with different topics. Based on this, forming teaching cases and stories, which constitute the main of this thesis.The main part of this study focus on some education stories and events, which lead to some changes of the backbone teachers development and happen in four roles of the ordinary math teacher, the discipline leader, the lean, the vice-principals. Depend on this, analysis the affecting factors and interpret from both inside and outside. Finally, some development advices will be given from three aspects:the backbone teachers, their school, teacher training school.
