Moral character is the basis of a talent," It takes ten years to grow trees but ahundred years to rear people", moral education plays an unquestionable importance ofpersonnel training. Ability and moral character is a basic standard of a talent, whilemoral character is more important than ability. The middle school is an important stageof students’ moral education, and the psychology and physiology of the middle schoolstudents are not mature, their value orientation always be changed by the influence ofvarious factors around them. With the rapid development of our society, people’s ideasand value orientation has changed very much than before, great changes also have takenplace in the moral atmosphere, the environment which middle school students live in ismuch more complex than before. Therefore, how to raise the level of moral education inmiddle school in such a complex environment, and how to compensate for the lack ofmoral education in middle school, how to take effective measures to comprehensivelypromote the moral education has become a major issue and a tough problems to us.Moral education is a series of social activities that to make people follow the moralcode of conduct, to perform the corresponding obligations to society and others. Overthe years, the theoretical and practical exploration of the vast number of middle schooleducators have done a lot of work in the moral education in middle school, and alsohave achieved fruitful results, Chongqing Tongnan middle school also have gettedmany results. But we also should know that moral education in middle school has someproblems that need to be solved, such as the importance of moral education is ignored;the quality of teachers is different, the evaluation system and the access system is lax;moral education goals lack of hierarchy, the content is abstract and divorced fromreality,the educational methods is single; the system to evaluate students’ moraleducation quality has some mistakes; the environment of moral education is bad. Tosolve problems in moral education of middle school, we must take the followingmeasures to effectively improve the moral education in middle school: to strengthen the importance of moral education in middle school and do some work, construct“practice–constructed” type learning concept of moral, increase investment in moraleducation; to strengthen the construction of teachers, improve the evaluation system andthe access system; improve the content, methods, and refined in moral education, that isto say that rich moral content of education, decide the content of moral education bystudents’ reality, to stimulate students to learn actively; improve moral evaluationsystem in middle school; to create a good moral education environment constructed byschools, families, social.We believe that with the efforts of the majority of middle school educators, and thesupport from parents and the community, middle school moral education will not onlybe able to meet the shortfall, but also be able to achieve a new level and makecontribution to education of builders of socialist modernization.
