Personality is the important factor on influencing learning, the study of personality characteristics and learning performance relationship in deep, can provide a scientific cognition of improving students’learning performance, and it is important to practicing. It has been a long concerned problem of researching performance by personality, but this reaching did not have a united, efficient results; one of the reasons is lack of a personality factor model that recognized, unified. The big five personality theory which appeared in eighties on behalf of a broad and stable personality factor model, it provides an ideal framework to the related research; also it is one of the best personality trait research methods.We make some research from two aspects of theory and practice based on the analysis of influence of personality on learning performance with the nonlinear and complexity, which in order to comprehensive integration methodology, we have used questionnaire survey method, literature research method, BP neural network and so on many kinds of combination of qualitative and quantitative methods to make this research. So corresponding conclusions have been obtained:1. The study of learning performance is defined on the basis of carding^baconianing^summarizing many researchers on learning performance of connotation of the view of this problem, and we have determine the learning performance evaluation method through a large number of literature studies. Discussed the big five personality and learning performance preliminary.2. We get the investigation object character data through the investigation method of the questionnaire, and get the evaluation table on the basis of analyzing many comprehensive universities’s comprehensive evaluation table, then through the Fuzzy Delphi method to determine the learning performance evaluation standard.3. Statistic standardized the input sample data and analyzed^classified the output data, thus established the BP nerve network model.4. According to the established network model, we using the computer and artificial neural network techniques to develop a big five personality and learning performance relationship system. Through the combination of man-machine system to express the complex relationships of personality and learning performance.5. The system will give the learners’performance level and the corresponding learners’ personality trait description, explored to the new approach that improve learning performance,which can provide a useful train of thought to individualized teaching and quality education. At the same time, we put forward suggestions of prescription in theory from the personality, talents cultivation.
