Research On The Influence Mechanism Of College Students' Social Network On The Performance Of Technology-based Entrepreneurship

University students'innovative undertaking has become one of the strategic measures to solve employment problem of university students. Compared with university students' survivorship entrepreneurship, university students'sci-tech entrepreneurship reflects future market demand, promotes innovation and development of the technology, market even whole society, turns to be the most potential field for establishing future competitive advantage. Furthermore, university students'sci-tech entrepreneurship requires higher technological level, qualified expertises and smooth communication channel, hence more dependent on external network resources. Sci-tech entrepreneurs focus on long-termed entrepreneurship objectives and make great efforts into maintaining external social relationship to obtain network resources.Compared with general entrepreneurs, sci-tech university student entrepreneurs have less social relationships and network resources. Sci-tech university student entrepreneurs'social network structure, social competence and proactive personality play significant roles in network resource obtainment and then futher influence entrepreneurship performance. This dissertation aims at sci-tech university student entrepreneurs supported by Innovation Center of College Students, adopts normative study, social network analysis and empirical research to explore how social network structure, social network resources, social competence and proactive personality influence entrepreneurship performance, and illustrate the intermediation of network resource between social network structure, social competence and proactive personality influence entrepreneurship performance. This dissertation comes to the following conclusions:(1) Lager is the social network scale of sci-tech university student entrepreneurs, creative entrepreneurial performance will be better; Higher is the social network heterogeneity of sci-tech university student entrepreneurs, creative entrepreneurial performance will be better and growth entrepreneurial performance will be worse; Higher is the social network intensity and tie-strength of sci-tech university student entrepreneurs, subjective entrepreneurial performance will be better. Sci-tech university student entrepreneurs obtain more supportive network resources from their social network, subjective entrepreneurial performance will be better; sci-tech university student entrepreneurs obtain more operational network resources from their social network, growth and subjective entrepreneurial performance will be better. Higher is the social network intensity and tie-strength of sci-tech university student entrepreneurs, they will obtain more supportive network resources from their social network. Supportive network resources are the partial mediator variable between social network intensity and subjective entrepreneurial performance; Supportive network resources are the full mediator variable between tie-strength and subjective entrepreneurial performance.(2) Higher are social adaptability, self-expressive and sensitivity, sci-tech university student entrepreneurs will obtain more supportive network resources from their social network; Higher are social perception, social adaptability, self-expressive, sensitivity and expression management, sci-tech university student entrepreneurs will obtain more operational network resources from their social network. Sci-tech university student entrepreneurs have higher social perception, creative, growth and subjective entrepreneurial performance will be better; Sci-tech university student entrepreneurs have higher social adaptability, growth and subjective entrepreneurial performance will be better; Sci-tech university student entrepreneurs have lower sensitivity, creative and growth entrepreneurial performance will be better; Sci-tech university student entrepreneurs have lower expression management, creative entrepreneurial performance will be better. Operational network resources act as partial mediator between social perception and subjective entrepreneurial performance; Supportive and operational network resources act as mediator between social adaptability and subjective entrepreneurial performance.(3) Higher are opportunity-seeking, proactive innovation and goal-realization, sci-tech university student entrepreneurs will obtain more supportive network resources from their social network; Higher are opportunity-seeking and proactive innovation, sci-tech university student entrepreneurs will obtain more operational network resources from their social network. Higher is opportunity-seeking, creative, growth and subjective entrepreneurial performance will be better; Higher is proactive innovation, growth and subjective entrepreneurial performance will be better; Higher is goal-realization, growth entrepreneurial performance will be better. Supportive network resources act as mediator between opportunity-seeking, proactive innovation and subjective entrepreneurial performance. The creation and contribution of this research are as follows:(1) to constuct and examine the four compositional dimensions of sci-tech university student entrepreneurs'social network structure, and further explore and examine the mediator of network resources between sci-tech university student entrepreneurs' social network structure and entrepreneurial performance. (2) Based on La Porter's Value Chain theory and explorative factor analysis, this dissertation divides network resources into supportive and operational network resources. (3) This research also examines the applicability of social competence and proactive personality in China and further explores the function mechanism of sci-tech university student entrepreneurs'social competence and proactive personality on entrepreneurial performance.The above research conclusions have the following practical significance for sci-tech university student entrepreneurs:firstly, this dissertation clearly indicates to the structure dimension of sci-tech university student entrepreneurs'social network and illustrates the function mechanism of sci-tech university student entrepreneurs'social network on entrepreneurial performance, which promote sci-tech university student entrepreneurs more target-orientedly develop, construct and maintain their social network; secondly, this dissertation explores and examines the function mechanism of sci-tech university student entrepreneurs'social competence and proactive personality on entrepreneurial performance, which is of reference value for sci-tech university student entrepreneurs to improve their social competence and strengthen proactive behaviors; thirdly, the exploration and examination on network resources displays to sci-tech university student entrepreneurs the accumulation and access ways for network resources, which is of significant implications for sci-tech university student entrepreneurs.
