School sports, an important part of education, composes an organic unity with moral,intellectual, and beauty education. To strengthen the building of senior school physicaleducation can not only improve the physical fitness of young people and form the habit oflifelong physical, but also can improve students’ ability to adapt to society, to promote theoverall development of students and healthy growth. For Grade Twelve students facingpressure, it is necessary to participate in physical exercise. school physical education andsports extracurricular activities can mitigate and adjust the pressure to improve students’learning efficiency with a unique advantage, so normal offering physical education andextracurricular activities for Grade Twelve students can encourage students to form a goodpersonality and psychological characteristics so that students learn effectively to ensure ahigher level in the entrance examination.The thesis takes the activities status of the southern region of urban high school studentsinside and outside class as base. To use the literature material method, interview method, fieldobservation, data statistics, comparative analysis, questionnaire survey and other researchmethods, It studies the southern region of Grade Twelve students physical education settingsand opened calisthenics of cases, extra-curricular activities, the awareness of physical exercisefor students of schools, social and family attitudes and venues for sports activities. And thenthe study discusses the question of existence, proposes countermeasures to regulate the GradeTwelve students’ PE activities. The results show:1. The PE arrangement of Grade Twelve in southern region Cities, Fujian Province isnot satisfactory because in the next semester very few schools can maintain the normal PEarrangement for2hours per week. Some schools arrange weekly hours of PE and some otherschools even have no PE arrangement.2. PE content is monotonous, and most schools arrange collective class, ignoringstudents’ interests.3. The overall performance of the sports training work for teachers lacks of inspection,supervision and evaluation mechanism, leading to a bad training effect, so that PE teacherscontinue education and health development are affected 4. The PE teachers’ enthusiasm of the research activities and research capacity need tobe further improved.5. It is not satisfactory for Grade Twelve students in the southern region cities, FujianProvince to participate in extra-curricular sports activities. Near the entrance examination, theschools take the students’ outside school hours too much, so very few students participate inextracurricular sports activities.6. the number and intensity of Grade Twelve students in the southern region cities,Fujian Province participating in extracurricular activities decrease.Especially in the nextsemester, students basically do not do calisthenics and eye exercises.
