The French national education was established late to19th century, but we can’t deny Middle Ages and the early modern times, which gestated the national education thought. This paper studies the French education development under the control of the medieval religious, the development of national education trend in the Religious reform and Enlightenment.The paper analyzes the French education thinker’s arguments on the national education deeply. This article discusses the establishment of the French national education system eventually and then the further development and perfection of the national education system.In The medieval period education mostly was held by the upper class, education didn’t form the scale in society, but inherited the culture partly of the ancient Greek and Roman. It promoted the development of education after the scene. In the process of Religious reform, protestant denominations and the Catholic Church struggle for people, and this promoted the development education. The French enlightenment movement trained the society’s desire for democracy and freedom. It surely provided ideological power for the development of education. In the process of the bourgeois revolution taking power, the national education trend rose. After the solid bourgeois regime, the ruler practiced the national education directly. From Enlightenment movement and the French revolution to the two FeiLi acts issued respectively in1881and1882, they required that public schools implemented free education and girls and boys aged6-13years who must accept the elementary in schools or families education. French national education system was established at this time.After the establishment of The French national education system, although regime changed constantly, the national education system has become social scope of consensus, the further development of national legislation, school of education popularization, the government’s financial support, the perfect training of the staff, the whole national education system has become more and more complete.
