New curriculum reform of Chinese language has gone through ten years, have made large achievements. However, the new Chinese curriculum reform in rural areas, it is struggling, one very important reason is that professional development for language teachers in rural areas struggle to keep pace with the times, therefore, promote teacher professional development in rural junior middle school has no time to lose.In the context of the new economic era, in the context of education reform in full swing, this paper based on the new curriculum reform in new Chinese curriculum standards as astarting point, make research on professional development of junior middle school teachers in rural areas this proposition. Hope the majority of professional qualities to the continue development of junior middle school teachers in rural areas, also hopes to reform the system, for the professional development of junior middle school teachers in rural areas to create favourable conditions.To define this thesis to teacher professional development, pointed out that teachers’professional development is a series of institutional measures include promoting the development of teachers of vocational maturity, teachers teaching quality and improving as a whole, are also included within the professionalquality of teachers’individual to become matured professionals improve. Individual teacher professional development is the core of teacher’s specialization. Professional qualities of teachers of disciplines of knowledge, expertise and professionalism.Under the background of new courses, professional qualities of teachers of Chinese language knowledge should be included, that is, knowledge, knowledge of literature and other aspects of Chinese language education teaching ability, language curriculum development, language lessons, language teaching design capacity evaluation of classroom management, language ability, academicability, language teaching and research capacity, and so on.
