The Research Of The Constriction Of College Dormitory Cultural Under The Angle Of Ideological And Political Education

Dormitory culture is an important part of campus culture. It is the total ofmaterial cultural, spiritual cultural, institutional culture and behavior culture, and isbased on the college students, realized by dormitory activities. It is a kind of groupculture which is formed by living and learning together.This paper is based on the culture carrier of ideological and political educationtheory, and the validity of ideological and political education theory to discuss therelationship of college Students’ dormitory culture and culture carrier of ideologicaland political education. Then, through the survey of current situation for collegestudents’ dormitory culture construction and analysis of the problems and reasons, thispaper is put forward to the effective implementation way for the constriction ofcollege dormitory cultural.The important work and achievements are from that dormitory culture is theculture carrier of Ideological and political education to research the relationship ofthem. In the investigation, the dormitory culture in three aspects of psychology,thought, and behavior to affect the ideological and moral formation and analyzes thenegative factors of dormitory culture on ideological and political education function.There are negative factors, as " Lying"," house" phenomenon, the phenomenon ofcompetition," small groups" the phenomenon to affect the dormitory culture function,especially education, regulation, guide, encourage, norms.It based on the questionnaire which showed the college dormitory cultureconstruction situation. The overall situation is better, and the entire dormitorybuilding is favorable for the students’ learning and living. But the problems areaffected by negative trends of thought in the West, not attention to education thanthe management, not enthusiastic on participation for the dormitory cultural activities,and the affecting of unhealthy factors. Then, the reasons for these problems areinternal and external factors. The external factors include the social background ofglobalization, the value of diversification, network culture, and the proliferation andlow-level cultural of the schools surrounding. The internal factors have insufficientattention form school, the lack of effectiveness thinking, the single hostel culturalevents and the affection of family influence, not enough of self-control.According to present situation of the college students’ dormitory cultureconstruction and the causes of problems, we should improve awareness of thedormitory culture and provide effective way of dormitory culture construction. These are attention to social difficulties and student needs, having the construction operationmechanism, using the full range of cultural resources, and developing the exemplaryrole for helping students. They could achieve the current construction of collegestudents’ dormitory culture, and create a good hostel culture.
