With recent years of college system reform and the expansion of enrollment scale, especially the gradually advancement of college logistics socialization and implementation of credit system, the position of college dorms in students' ideological and political education has been increasing gradually. The colleges and their relevant departments conduct an exploration in promoting the student's dormitory management unify and standardized development, and they have achieved some results. However, some problems are exposed in the process of building successively, such as material environment construction, management service, and ideological education issues.This paper sets this micro and specific special field of college dorm as a study object, sets "educating people" as the goal, starts from the views of university students' development, by the way of analyze on the relationship between college dormitory culture and university students ideological and political education, creatively to discuss the new carrier of university students ideological and political education—college dormitory culture.
