Adolescents are not only the future of our country, but also they are the hope ofthe motherland. So whether young people can grow up healthily is directly related tothe tomorrow of motherland. In modern society, more and more young people turn updeviant behavior in their way to grow up, which not only seriously affects the healthygrowth of youngsters, but also hinders the country’s long-term stability. However, thepenalties applicable to adults will damage the physical and mental health of youngpeople of varying degrees. How can we not only guarantee the healthy growth ofyoungsters but also achieve the purpose of punishing and educating young people?This gradually becomes a question of great concern to the national judiciary and eventhe whole society. With the development and growth of the social work career,Community Correction, originally belonged to the categories of law, began to beimplanted in the social work values and methods, which has also been used inadolescent deviant behavior. Community Correction solves this thorny issue for thepractice of youth deviant behavior. And it plays an irreplaceable role in the adolescentsocial adjustment and self-recognition. Community Correction as a kind of socialwork methods which used for the adolescent deviant behavior begins to get morepeople’s respect.This paper uses case study of the deviant adolescents of S City D Community asthe stance, and uses the values and techniques of social work as the main line. Theauthor analyzes the various stages of the Youth Community Correction throughinterviews, observation and document analysis of social research methods, andpropose possible corrective program to explore the in-depth requirements and needsof young people. Through the use of Community Correction, the deviant youngpeople can quickly integrate into normal school life. Firstly, this article collated and summarized the research background, significance and past literature of the topic andsumed up and clarifies the related concepts of Community Correction and deviantbehavior. When sort out the literature, the author found that there were hardlyresearches which used the deviant behavior of young people as the CommunityCorrections object. Most of the researches used juvenile delinquents as the researchobject. This is the first that the article uses deviant behavior of young people as theobject of the Community Correction, which will play a significant role on reducingthe crime rate of young people. Secondly, the author described the selectedcommunity and correction object, and analysed the possible causes for deviantbehavior of the correction object. Again, the author used the specific cases to analysethe techniques and methods of various stages of Community Correction,and foundthe deficiencies of the technology and methods in Correction process through theactual intervention, and provided reference for the comprehensive promotion ofCommunity Correction. Finally, the author pointed out that the cause of the problemand combining with the practical characteristics of social work, the author put forwardcountermeasures and suggestions relating to implementation principle, relevant law,institution building, talented person troop, scope of application and so on, which canmake up of the imperfect of Community Correction system and act better on thedeviant behavior of young people to reduce the crime rate and ensure their growing uphealthy and soundly.This article is3,5000words. It attempts to introduce Community Correctionsinto the correction of adolescent deviant behavior. But the author know that is notenough to rely on individual efforts. The author hopes to start a discussion thatCommunity Correction can be widely used in the youth work, which is not only goodto the healthy development of young people, but better maintaining harmonious andstable social environment.
