As the pace of urbanization accelerated, more and more migrant muslims enter intocities, economical and agricultural registered residence accounts for the majority.Employment is very crucial to whether they can further adjust cities or not, migrant muslimsneed to confront employment problems as a result of gaps among city and country, minoritycustom and religious belief, which easily lead to their maladjustment in cities, hence it isnecessary to improve their adaptability by means of solving employment problems, however,making working conditions of migrant muslims better, has great significance to improve levelof public service and management to migrant muslims, promote urbanization of migrantmuslims and cities, urban-rural harmonious development and National unity.The thesis takes Hui floating population in Baotou city of Inner Mongolia as a case study,through the empirical investigation of working conditions with these people floating inBaotou, analyzing their population and employment characteristics, in contrast with theworking conditions of citizens in Baotou, especially that of Hui to find out existing problems.On the basis of the theory of social mutual-construction, multidimensionally analyzing thereasons of Hui floating population‘s working conditions, in order to propose rationalsuggestions, make scientific predictions about the development of Baotou’s Hui floatingpopulation, finally aim for enhancing Baotou’s service and management to migrant muslims,in the hope of ameliorating the working conditions of migrant muslims, so as to facilitate theirvirtuous adjustment.
