Teachers are professionals engaged in education and teaching,and their work has distinctive characteristics of borderlessness.Under the boundaryless working conditions,the teacher's time management has become a prominent practical problem.The so-called time management is simply the management of time,and time has become a resource.In a deeper sense,the essence of time management is self-management of time users.Teachers' time management refers to the behavior that teachers use time as the management object to effectively recognize,plan,monitor and evaluate time.Teachers' time management has the characteristics of diversity of management subjects,abstraction of management objects,high density of management content,and periodicity of management periods,and has a theoretical basis in many aspects.Primary school teachers are a relatively special group,and their time management should follow the principles of foresight,reality,creativity and scientificity.In real life,the time management of elementary school teachers will inevitably fall into a certain dilemma,which is manifested by the irrational time structure due to social pressure,the lack of time autonomy due to the clutter of work,and the lack of time management capabilities due to weak planning awareness,etc.The improvement of primary school teachers' time management needs to complete two basic changes.One is to change from "time without 'I'" to "time with 'I'",and the other is from "time with 'I'" to "time with'efficiency'".This also represents two basic ways to improve the time management of primary school teachers.The current situation of elementary school teachers' time management can be revealed through case investigations.A survey of elementary school teachers at Changjun Moon Island School in Wangcheng District,Changsha City found that the school teachers have a preliminary sense of time management,but lack the motivation to explore time management independently.This conclusion is typical.Strengthening teachers' time management consciousness and cultivating their ability is a problem related to the construction of teaching staff in the new era.
