Study On The Social Inclusion Of Migrant Muslims In Shanghai

As the academic researches of the floating population are substantial,the social inclusion problem of migrant Muslims,a special group,gets more attention from the society and academic circles.Being minorities and Islam,their integration process is relatively complex and difficult compared with other non-Muslim community.In the process of social inclusion,their religious beliefs and cultural customs will affect the inclusion with the inflow area people,not only the system differences.So the research is significant in China's national unity,the harmonious development of religion and the construction of a harmonious society.Basing on the Shanghai migrant Muslims in Pudong,Songjiang,Minhang,etc.this paper analyzed how individual and institution factors influence the integration from social,economic,cultural and psychological aspects by literature,interview questionnaire and other research methods.The results show that the migrant Muslims have a certain difference with Shanghai locals.First of all,due to the problem of census register,they are restricted in social security,education,etc.Second,religious belief restricts their amalgamation to some extent.Finally,in view of the problems of inclusion,this paper also puts forward some suggestions,hoping to effectively promote their inclusion in Shanghai.
