With the development of the mobile communication and the research of the theory relatedto mobile-learning, mobile-learning, as an approach of U-learning, is drawing more and moreattention. Mobile-learning, as a new learning method developing from the e-learning, has itsspecialty, besides all the features of the e-learning, that is; learning can be obtained at any timeand at any place. Learning is no longer limited to the classroom and the learners are no longerlimited to the front of the computer. They can learn for different purposes and in differentmethods anytime and anywhere.However, the Chinese education, especially the education in higher vocational schools,faces many difficulties. The most striking of all is that the academic level of the students issignificantly different. In contrast to the ordinary universities, the teaching process is much moreuncontrollable and the quality of education is much more difficult to guarantee in highervocational schools. As a result, the study quality can not be guaranteed either and the graduatesfrom these schools are not recognized and accepted. The traditional teaching method meets agreat many problems during the teaching process. Can the introduction of the mobile-learningimprove the students’learning in the higher vocational schools? And how is the mobile-learninggoing in these schools? What problems will arise?Based on the questionnaire, this article generalizes how the learning is going and theunderstanding as well as the application of the mobile-learning. It also reflects upon thequestions that arise and puts forward some relevant solutions. In the introduction of the article, itstates how the question rises, the background and the process of the research at first. Then itdiscusses the related conceptions, the current research national and abroad of the mobile-learning.After that, it makes a simple introduction on the higher vocational education and explains theproblems in its teaching and education as well as the feasibility of using the mobile-learning as an important teaching method in the higher vocational schools. Fourthly, it analyses thequestionnaire, lists the students’actual usage of the device for the mobile-learning and theproblems during the application in the higher vocational schools, hopes to solve these problemsand thus improve the quality of the teaching and education as well. In the end of this article, itsums up the achievement of the research and the shortage. It also states the prospect of theapplication of the mobile-learning in the higher vocational schools.
