The Study Of Sports Activities In"Village Inside City"in Wuhan

Since its reform and opening up of PRC, the country’s productivity has been greatly enhanced, and national economy is developing rapidly. As city quality has been constantly improved, urban construction is drastic bold and resolute. In the tide of urban construction, urban land is sharply occupied. Even some villages in the edge of the city, is put in the plan of urban land construction. This creates a special one the intermediate region "villages inside city". It is the inevitable outcome of the development of urbanization, and temporary product compared with the history.With the acceleration of urbanization and the continuous improvement of city quality,"village inside city" has become one of the key projects that the party and the government focus on. As a cultural phenomenon, the sports of "village inside city", has become part of the urban civilization, then it becomes one of our focus. This paper takes Wuhan city as an example, it has investigated and analyzed sports activities in "village inside city" by using literature data method, questionnaire investigation, interview and mathematical statistics. It comes to the inadequacies in the process of its development and put forward suggestions on its prospects, in order to provide a theoretical reference for the development and construction of the "Villages" sports activities. This article’s preliminary results are as follows:(1).No proper sports organization management, government does not pay enough attention to village sports. The daily sports activities are nearly carried out by all the voluntary villagers, and the local community service station did not set up a specialized organization for sports guidance and planning. That is not helpful for local fitness activities.(2).Single local government propaganda and inadequate publicity hinder the pace of local sports.(3).Weak economic foundation, no earmarks is given on villages sports activities. limited financial resources and funding are the restrictions on the development of the current villages and sports activities.(4).Lack of scientific fitness guidance, there is no specialized fitness instructor within the community, only sports enthusiasts without specialized training. (5). Sports population structure is irrational, low in the middle high in two extremes-the "saddle shape" trend. The juvenile sporting population below17and the elderly sporting population above66are big, while sporting population of the intermediate stage is small.(6).The serious lack of sports consciousness, close-minded, low sports consumption level, and no concept have been formed for spending money on health by taking sports.(7).The current villages sports exercise in Wuhan is single, and the variety is not rich and full.(8).Inadequate public sports facilities, low sport coverage and lack of equipment, have made serious impact on the sports activities for the local villagers.
