College teacher’s evaluation system is the mainline and basis of teacher evaluation activity’s implementation and reform, as well as a basic system that plays a basic role in colleges. After experiencing different degree’s change, continuous self-denial and transcendence in concept, objection, procedure and mechanism, Teacher evaluation’s system of Chinese college gradually generates a new development path.But such a development path is more and more further away from the instrinsic quality and basic demand of teacher evaluation, and the system’s orientation presents deviation and "lack of meaning". The research recognizes the kind deviation and meaning are the college teacher evaluation system’s aliention. Aliention has emerged and it’s a largely growing dynamic process’s description that restricts the professional development of teachers to a considerable extent which causes many disadvantages. When people criticises and accuses the current evaluation system. They are full of expectations on the evaluation system’s innovation. Then, what is the evaluation system’s alienation of college teacher? What are the reasons that cause alienation? How to avoid this phenomenon? The paper structural arrangement is based on these inquiry and reflection.The paper is divided into five parts. The first part clarifies the research’s origin and significance, summarizes the statue of the college teacher evaluation system’s research. At the same time, the part introduces the hotal research ideas, the research’s method and innovation. In the second part, the related concepts of the research, such as "system","college teacher evaluation system" and "the evaluation system’s alienation of college teacher", respectively are defined. Then, sociological and institutionalism and Marx’s alienation theory that support the research are elaborated. The third part summaries the basic mode of American college teacher evaluation system and characteristics from the evaluation’s subjects, evaluation’s contents, evaluation’s procedures and the use of evaluation’s results. Then, we analyse the enlightment to our country. The fourth part introduces the performance of Chinese college teacher evaluation system’s alienation and the reasons from the aspects of core system’s lack and teacher evaluation’s administrationism. The fifth part discusses the countermeasures to avoid college teacher evaluation syetem’s alienation in view of evaluation system’s administricationism so as to enlighting academic power of our colleges.In this study, we have the following conclusions:Firstly, American college teacher evaluation system’s characteristics are reflected in four aspects. That is the "triangle" principle of evaluation methods, the classification of evaluation standards, the strict and standardized evaluation procedures, the appeal system and legal intervention. Secondly, teacher evaluation system’s alienation of Chinese colleges outstandingly is reflected in three aspects, that is the quantitative evaluation’s generalization and peer-reviewed weakening, research-first and teaching drift, the stress’s disperison and occupation-exhausted of college teather, Thirdly, core systems’lack and teacher evaluation’s administrationism are the alienation’s reasons. Fourthly, avoiding teacher evaluation system’s alienation of our country’s colleges not only need to undertake the system innovation for making college teacher evaluation system’s regression of standard, but also need to reform the administrationism of teacher evaluation to highlight the college academic power.
