Purpose: Investigating the occupational stress of academics; analysing different groups ofuniversity teachers occupational stress; dissecting the main factors of occupational stress reaction;efforts to improve physical and mental health of academics, to optimize the Management ofUniversity Teachers, to improve the quality of education and teaching.Method: In this study, a cluster random sample of1200human subjects drawn from sixcolleges and universities in preparing teachers.Self general Survey of the OSI-R, EPQ-RSC, theMBI-GS, anxiety and depression of the SCL-90subscales of the unified layout andbinding.Please sample of school leaders and teachers with the teachers to attend the regularmeetings, training opportunities and submit through network platform to issue questionnaires.The entire questionnaire of246items,1200questionnaires were issued,868valid questionnaires.The data analyzed by t test, analysis of variance, multiple regression analysis, structural equationfitting for statistical analysis.Results:(1)The university teachers compared norm of the scientific researchers,the scores ofoccupational role and personal strain were higher than the norm, and personal resources lowerthan the norm.(2)The difference with male and female teachers was statistically significant (p<0.05) in role ambiguity, physical environment, psychological strain,interpersonal strain,physical strain, personal resources, self-care, social support,rational. Occupational stress ofacademics of different age groups the differences statistically significant (p <0.01). The scores ofacademics of different titles in the occupational role questionnaire and personal resourcesquestionnaire differences were statistically significant (p <0.05); Academics of different levels ofeducation, except to role insufficiency, role ambiguity, vocational strain, rational, otherdimensions are the differences in the highest level of education was statistically significant (p<0.05).(3)Into the regression equation role overload, role insufficiency and other factors couldexplain personal strain response variability of60%; Into the regression equation rational, roleinsufficiency and other factors could explain psychological strain variability of44%; Individualdepressive tendencies and individual psychological stress was positively correlated.(4) Themechanism of occurrence of psychological stress reactions, burnout has an importantintermediary role.Conclusion:(1)The scores of occupational role and personal strain were higher than the norm,and personal resources lower than the norm, the level of occupational stress is notoptimistic.(2)The academics of different Groups (gender, seniority, job title, education level)occupational stress varying degrees of differences.(3) Business stress, psychological stress,interpersonal relations, physical stress factors affecting seniority, salary, education level, personality, job burnout, occupational task characteristics, personal response to part of thedimension of personality.(4)Occupational role, personal resources, the seniority of the role ofpsychological stress response is caused by job burnout as an intermediary.
