Research On Children’s P.E. Teaching Activities In Urban Kindergarten

P.E. teaching activity is an important part of health education in kindergarten, which is a basic organizational form to promote the healthy development of children’s body. It is necessary to provide the scientific and suitable P.E. teaching activities to children for ensuring their development both in normal and physics, what’s more it is also an important aspect of the kindergarten teaching work. In order to promote the healthy development of children, and to provide the suitable P.E. teaching for them, I make this study by selecting three different levels of kindergarten randomly in X city, hubei province.The study, based on hygiene and pedagogy, covers the research of target, content, organization form, teaching method, health supervision and evaluation of teaching. In addition this study researched nursery school P.E. teaching activity systematically by testing, observating, interviewing and so on.The research shows as follow:The P.E.teaching activity aims in the X nursery school are suitable for a child’s healthy both in body and mind development characteristics which is also identical with Kindergarten Education Guidance Program. Teaching content and the choice of P.E. activity can meet the needs of children’s physical and mental development elementary, however, it is contains some optional and plain aspects, which is not conducive to children’s exercise. Teaching method is rich, which can arouse the children’s interest, but the forms are quiet sole, it is difficult to give consideration to the individual children who have special needs. Health supervision is not optimistic, for example, short of outdoor activities sites per capita inadequate, lack of protective ground around the large P.E. equipment etc. As for evaluation, regardless of the principal part, content or styles are single. The amount of exercise slant generally small can’t fully satisfy the needs of children’s physical and mental development. The main reasons of these problems are:parents’ education conception are irrational, teacher’s professional level, the lack of kindergarten and superior administrative departments paid less attention and support to the P.E. teaching work. To solve these problems, this study will put forward following suggestions,which grounded on parents, teachers,kindergarten and the administrative department First, parents should change their education conception, and correctly understand the valuable of P.E. teaching activity.Second, preschool teachers should strengthen themselves by learning and teaching reflection, and improve their teaching level constantly. Third, kindergarten should enhance the support of the work, such as making special P.E. work plan and complete P.E. teaching system, and strengthen the nursery school P.E. facilities and teacher training investment and so on. Fourth, the government should reinforce the input of education in kindergarten, the education administrative department should strengthen teacher’s education and training of P.E., and the administrative departments for public health should intensify the kindergarten of P.E. education supervision.
