The thought of Mao Zedong’s family education and itscontemporary values was selected as the object of studying in thepaper. Thought of Mao’s family education background, the richconnotation and the important features was in-depth analysis.The paper was divided into three parts: introduction、body andconcluding. The introduction was elaborated as the following: familyeducation and the thought of Mao Zedong’s family education wereintroduced; the present research situation was briefed; the basic ofthe topic, the train of thought, the structural arrangements wereintroduced .It can reflect the profound significance in theory and thepractice.Abstracted the Mao’s family education thought from five parts tothe home education of Mao Zedong was researched and writed.The first chapter, indicated the necessity and importance ofstudying of Mao Zedong’s home education. The second chapter, thebackground of Mao Zedong home education thought was analyzedfrom the aspects, such as: family environment, traditional Chineseculture influence , the Hunan geographical and cultural impact and soon.The third chapter, elaborated the content and the connotation of Mao Zedong home education from five aspects, including ideal andbelief education, education on studying, affective education and theeducation about habits and the ability.According to the third chapter of elaboration , the fourth chaptersummarized the characteristics of Mao Zedong home education. Thefifth chapter understand the contemporary value of the familyeducation about Mao Zedong. Finally, the concluding remark wasdrawn.
