China is a large agricultural country. Up until now, there are 1.37 billion peopleliving in China, of which 674 million are living in the rural area, accounting for50.32% of the whole population. Issues concerning agriculture, countryside andfarmers have always been the strategic problems related to the overall nationaldevelopment and construction, and the problems that must be faced in the entirelong-term modernization process. They relate to China’s national economicdevelopment and modernization construction.The modern society has already entered into the highly information-oriented era.The modern distance education of issues concerning agriculture, countryside andfarmers is one important method to promote the rural construction, realize ruralmodernization and improve the overall quality of farmers. The construction andsharing of education resources is the key factor to ensure that the modern distanceeducation of issues concerning agriculture, countryside and farmers proceedssmoothly and achieves good results.The author has participated parts of the investigation and research work of two projects in his second master year, one is“Research on Internet-basis New Distance Training Mode for Farmers”( Project No: 11CSHJ09), a social and scientific project planned by Shandong Province, and the other is“Research on shared Distance EducationResources of Agriculture, Countryside and Farmers”(Project No: 09XJC880002), a humanity, society and scientific Research of Ministry of Education on youth fund of thewestern and border areas. Based on the work done by the author in the two projects, a s well as the initial results, this paper is formed.In the first chapter of this article, the author introduces some aspects referring tothe distance education of issues concerning agriculture, countryside and farmers sinceit was implemented, including national policy, projects, scholars’research results, aswell as the shortcoming of current research, sets forth the importance of it, anddiscusses the meaning of resources construction and sharing of it. Besides, the authorgives the contents, idea, methods, and innovation points of this article. In the secondchapter, the author defines related concepts, and introduced the theoretical basis. Thethird chapter details all the works for his research, including survey targets, surveymethods, survey procedures, and his analysis on the research results. As per theresearch results, the author analyzes with the needs and limitations of resourcessharing and construction of distance education of issues concerning agriculture,countryside and farmers. In the third Chapter, the author analyzes the needs ofconstruction of sharing recourses on distance education of middle and primary schooland among party members in rural areas. The fifth chapter draws the systemconstruction of resources sharing on distance education of issues concerningagriculture, countryside and farmers in Shandong Province, and puts forward therelated guarantee mechanism.
