A Study On The Needs Psychology In The Ideological And Political Education Of College Students

Needs are the driving power in ideological and political education and need psychology must be studied while doing the work of ideological and political education, including the rules and characteristics of need psychology of the college students. The students’normal and reasonable needs were easily neglected and their inner needs required more understanding in the initial stage of the ideological and political education and much attention was paid to their behavior. College students nowadays all possess unique personality, like various interests, strong curiosity, self-center, rich emotion and courage to challenge, etc. They hope to be unique and wish to get others’recognition and respect. Therefore, in order to improve the effectiveness of ideological and political education, we should respect their personality and meet their reasonable needs based on the need psychology.In this essay, combining the methods of theoretical analysis and empirical study, the author expounds the above problem from four aspects, encircling needs psychology and ideological and political education. In the first section, the author generalizes and analyses the connotation and characteristics of needs and needs psychology and probes into the needing theory of Marx and Marslow. The realistic significance of ideological and political education work is discussed, starting from the college students’needs psychology in the background of current realistic society. In the third section, a questionaire is used to analyse in detail the display and feature of needs psychology in order to further hold their psychological needs. Besides, the author discomposes deeply the formation, the development and influence factors of needs psychology. In the end, the needs characteristics and specific embodyment of college students are conferred. In addition, the author expounds the specific measures to effectively conducting ideological and political education from the perspective of working ideology and working train of thought.
