Chengdu is an important central city in western China, is developing the western region on the critical link. Is also the capital of Sichuan Province, Chengdu, Sichuan’s economic output accounted for one third. So, Chengdu’s future industrial development for economic and social impact has a great effect. However, according to statistics released in 2007, Chengdu special statistical analysis projected that by 2025 the population will be reduced by 465.4 thousand people, down to 11.746 million people, of which the proportion of the working population has also dropped from the current 66.86% to 60.06%.From the supply point of view of changes in population age structure is bound to make the quantity and quality of labor force change. The next few years, China’s labor resources will continue to increase in 2010 will reach 940 million people. Since then began to fall to 2035 or so back to the level of the current size. The median age of labor force from 2000 will be 33.6 years old, rapidly rising in 2020 to 40.5 years in 2040 to 43.8 years of age, after which will face a shortage of labor resources and the aging trend. How to change the age structure of population, and to explore the industry’s future development? No doubt for the current industry planning has an important significance. In this paper, the age structure of the population in Chengdu and the current calendar year, an analysis of the information and use mathematical tools for a simple prediction calculation; combined with the current state of industrial development in Chengdu, then the population ages in all industries, an analysis of the impact of and finally conduct a comprehensive combination analysis, the population age structure, the impact of various industries for the analysis, put forward in response to changes in population age structure, under the measures with a view to explore for further research to provide a reference.
