In recent years, in order to satisfy people’s lifelong learning need and market demand, vocational education are developing vigorously. It takes the direction of solving employment and carries the college-business cooperation and work-study combination out. It takes building modern vocational education system of Chinese characteristics as the goal in a reasonable variety and flexible manner. The model of work-study combination need two and a half years school theoretical study and half of aid-the-poor programmer under the talents cultivating model of work-study combination in the higher vocational education. It works more difficult in the politics-thought education and more complicated of vocational students’ politics-thought education than the single school environment over the past.The vocational education develops rapidly since reform and opening. It trains a large number of qualified laborers and practical talents for the modernization. The State Council has made the goal of supplying more than 800 million vocational graduates to the society in the Tenth Five-Year period; and in the Eleventh Five-Year period, the goal will be more than 1100 million. Against the background of rapid economy and culture development and complicated international situation, the sharp increase vocational students will bring a great challenge and accountability to the politics-thought education. Along with the growth of the Chinese Communist Party, politics-thought education develops; Party and state leaders have attached great importance to it. In 2006, the Ministry of Education issued a file about strengthening politics-thought education instructor team construction; and the Communist Party’s propaganda department and the Department of Education proposed to strength the politics-thought education theory course teachers’team construction in 2008. As vocational education is an important part of higher education, vocational students is also an important part of college students. The quality of vocational applicants and the enrollment of vocational college, the construction of politics-thought education team and the its reform work becomes the key and difficult aspects of in the politics-thought education of higher vocational colleges.This paper main research direction is through literature concerning, carrying out questionnaire investigation, analyzing and summing up the background, environment, object, content, methods and its causes of politics-thought education under the model of work-study combination, seek the effective approach of solving problems. This paper is composed of four chapters:Chapter one:This part elaborated the particularity of politics-thought education for higher vocational students, and analyzed its importance and necessity under the model of work-study combination from cultivating mode of applying study to work and defining the concept of aid-the-poor programmer.Chapter two:This part analyzed the real situation of politics-thought education for higher vocational students under the model of work-study combination, generalized its present through questionnaire investigation, described its characteristic from the aspects of the higher vocational colleges in double-meaning teachers, students "5S" steamships management and the aid-the-poor programmer.Chapter three:This part analyzed the problems of politics-thought education for higher vocational students under the model of work-study combination from the aspects of the students, families and schools. There are problems of underestimating and lacking of mental preparation for the talents cultivating model of work-study combination, and students’ethical quality didn’t reach the requirement of enterprises. The student families lacked of cognitive for the talents cultivating model of work-study combination, and schools were also insufficient to it. It appeared that the construction of the teacher troops of politics-thought education didn’t reach the combination of the talents cultivating model of work-study combination and its ways lacked of innovation and the connection with the cooperative enterprises failed to achieve its requirement, etc.Chapter four:This part put forward the countermeasures to the problems of the current politics-thought education under the talents cultivating model of work-study combination. The first measure was to enhance students’quality under the talents cultivating model of work-study combination; the second measure was to improve school and enterprise connection and played enterprise cultivation effect; the third measure was to find new ways of politics-thought education. This paper collected and analyzed the related documents and questionnaire from the students of Sichuan Electric Vocational and Technical College, and analyzed the real situation of politics-thought education for higher vocational students under the model of work-study combination. It combined the work experience of politics-thought education and student management to implement the research about politics-thought education for higher vocational students under the model of work-study combination, and put forward the advices about how to implement politics-thought education for higher vocational students under the model of work-study combination. Its main points as follows:The rapid development of higher vocational education and the student enrollment of vocational students make the level of students are intermingled, and higher vocational college should pay more attention to the basic quality of the training in the politics-thought education.Higher vocational college is different from high school students and undergraduate students, it should take the talents cultivating model of work-study combination as key point in the politics-thought education; take cultivating the practical and technology talents suiting for modernization as target; strengthen the cultivation of students’ethical quality.Higher vocational college should strengthen the contact with the enterprise in the talents cultivating model of work-study combination. It also should introduce the enterprise cultural elements into the construction of campus culture, which can make vocational students feel the requirements of enterprises and social while studying at the college. It can make the external force into students’inner quality, and can develop high quality and technology talents who can adapt to the jobs quickly.This paper constructed reasonable evaluation mechanism through the research of requirements of enterprises and social, and innovated the way of politics-thought education in the talents cultivating model of work-study combination. It perfected evaluation mechanism through the enterprise feedback and tracked of students in the enterprises, and formatted the benign interaction to ensure time-effectiveness of the politics-thought education.
