Nomatter how quick the university developed, it was still based on academic activities andteacher activities. It was still focused on teaching and educating, realistic and pragmaticnature of academic.However, the rise and fall about academy always becomes the symbol of fortunesfor the country. Academic atmosphere, bad or good, tends to become a microcosm ofmankind. In the recent years,as the root of university—scholar, was constantlysuffered from academic fraud and academic utilitarian erosion.Endless academicscandal and academic misconduct happened quite frequently. Academic corruption oracademic utilitarian has become an indisputable fact. Bad social climate,"money iseverything" and incomplete university system makes us become furtherer and furthereraway from the grand goal of world-class universities.This article aims to answer what is academic utilitarian?
