Shanghai Conservatory of Music and the community have established win-win cooperative relations.Due to the participating of college to construct in community culture is still in the initial stage, the cooperation still have a lot of problem. The college lack of initiative. The cooperation lacks of money and support. Community residents’initiative is also not high. The cooperation lacks of government policy support. The interaction between college and community is not stable. In the process of cooperation, college and community’s management constraint mechanism is not perfect. The community culture and college culture differences and Shanghai Conservatory of Music own condition restriction factors.This paper introduces some Shanghai universities and domestic artistic colleges participating in community culture construction, summarizes the successful mode of operation. According to the actual situation of artistic colleges, put forward some countermeasures and suggestions, such as strengthening the understanding of artistic colleges to participate in the construction of community culture, exploring the way of artistic colleges participating in community culture, establishing the community culture brand, establishing long-term cooperation.
