This article analyzes the essence of the dilemma of enterprise social work duringthe development,and propose relevant solutions. On this basis, summarizes thedeveloping direction of enterprise social work at present, which is around the valuesconflicts between the enterprise management and employee’s benefits, and needs theperformance and balancing of their contradictions. The methods used includestudying the related documents, and documents and investigation in Shenzhen,especially the interviewing for the managers and the employees and the experience ofthe social wok during the two-month practicing in G enterprise social work servicescenter. All of this is in the hope of assisting the social workers to explain theirproblems, ideas, and promote the development of enterprise social work.The research shows that managers and employees have different needs towards thesocial work in an enterprise and then arises two opposite dimensional values, namelyenterprise management values and the employee’s benefits values under the scientificmanagement mode of Taylor system, which influences the social work in an enterpriseand is the main cause of the dilemma. The enterprise social work plays a positivemiddle role on solving the conflicts. It is needed to take balancing measures to dealwith the relationship of the dimensional values. The future developing direction ofenterprise social work is to assist the enterprise to improve the method ofmanagement and enterprise culture, take corporate social responsibility and finallyrealize the success of both of the enterprise and enterprise social work.Firstly, the article analyses the contradiction and its specific performance of theenterprise and the employee, then summarize the dimensional values of enterprisemanagement and employee benefit.Secondly, on this basis, it analyses their needs andcomprehension for the enterprise social work and its roles to the development of theenterprise social work, and then finds the conflicts of the dimensional values is themain cause of the enterprise social work during its development. Lastly, on the basisof the successful experience of G enterprise, it proposes the strategy to balance thedimensional values and finally concludes that the development of enterprise socialwork needs be consisted with the philosophy of the enterprise management.
