Recently, with the increasing standard of material life, the concept of the people change from how to eat enough to how to eat well.The application of advanced technology in food industry works as a double-edged sword,it not only makes our lives delicious, but also brings risk to our lives.They create potential threat to food safety such as pesticides,feed,additives and so on. The consequent food safety risks increase.Food safety is a cause for concern to our people, it also becomes a worldwide issue. The international community pays more attention to food safety. The horsemeat being sold as beef scandal occurred in February2013affected many countries of EU. During the same period, New Zealand milk powder were found dicyandiamide,Germany exposed the egg fraud scandal, as well as the foreign milk frequently appeared quality problems in our country, they illustrated that food safety issues is without borders.Countries around the world are actively exploring effective food safety regulatory measures such as strengthening food safety supervision, improving the system of food safety laws, introducing scientific food safety management system to enhance food safety level. China is in a period of food safety problems happen frequently, food safety regulatory legal system is not complete.The food safety regulatory system is imperfect. The food industry lacks of self-discipline and is short of integrity, the current public participation in China in the food regulation has no effective result. It’s a heavy task for food safety regulation in rural areas.All of them restrict our food safety regulation forward, and prohibit food safety regulation from improving. In view of this, this article aims to analysis and elaborate important theory in food safety regulation.On the basis of study advanced experience of foreign countries, investigating the problems in China’s food safety regulation and proposing a number of recommendations to improve food safety regulatory system.This component comprises of four chapters. The first chapter is about the basic theory of food safety regulation. These consequent investigations into food safety regulatory are on the base of these theories. The second chapter narrates china’s food safety legal system and regulation system in detail and concludes defects on the stage of our food safety regulatory.Then analyzing these drawbacks.The third chapter introduces the advanced food safety regulation experience of United States Japan and the European Union.This part mainly comments these countries and regions how to consummate food safety regulation through the legislation protection, strengthening supervision and implementation of distinctively scientific regulatory measures. It summarizes revelations to China for regulating food safety.The forth chapter combines with defects of china’s food safety and revelations in food regulatory of developed countries to propose measures and recommendations to improve our food safety regulation.
