Natural science as a kind of special appearance of culture, is the basic contents and the main means of the modernization of the world. And as a advanced subject, its particular worldview and methodology gradually penetrated into the thoughts of the social elite, thus influencing the whole of academic thinking and social practice thinking.Scientific knowledge learning is the basic way for the individual to aquire the modernity approbation feeling. As a "cognitive schema ",it had a huge impact to the knowledge system of China, which is Confucianism as the center in the near modern history, brining China’s thoughts a gradual turn from the tradition to the modernization during near modern history.Scientific ideas’development has not only the society material foundation in the capitalist social, but the common "psychological culture field":the cultural rational initiation and the awakening of individual consciousness becoming rationalization. This sudden turn is a result of the Western history contents, which is combined with the polyphyletic,three-dimensional historical factors. But the Chinese society is the place belonging to the other culture contents obviously, in which the traditional culture takes ethics knowledge system as the centre to build the fundamental worldview,the view on life,the view on values and the methodology for the community in Chinese region.As a great man,Sun Yat-sen lives in the collision of these two knowledge systems, and his scientific thoughts is of great realistic significance of life and special cultural significance. This paper will focus on the appearance and reasons of the collision between the two different local knowledge systems in Sun Yat-sen’s thought.For a clearer understanding of the problem of collision of the two knowledge systems on the Sun Yat-sen, I refined it to the following questions to think about.How was Sun Yat-sen’s natural science thoughts enlightened? In what dimension and what aspects did the natural science of thought affect the whole of his revolutionary ideas? In what context this kind of influence is done? Why did Sun Yat-sen choose violent revolution, and what the role the natural scientific thought played in this selection? Why Sun Yat-sen has taken a compromised approach between Chinese culture and Western culture and what is the attitudes and standards he treated the two different forms of culture? What strategy is behind this standard? Why did this fundamental cultural strategy affect our moral beliefs?This paper will survey those questions in the different sections.The first chapter to answer the question of Sun Yat-sen’s science enlightenment. Through textual research, this paper points out Sun Yat-sen’s science enlightenment is completed by accepting the Western general national education.The second chapter describes the characteristics of Sun Yat-sen’s science thoughts. Obtained conclusion by through study, the revolution is the life context that natural scientific thoughts and social revolutionary thoughts had a dialogue on Sun Yat-sen.The natural science thoughts as a foundation of the worldview and methodology to lead Sun Yat-sen’s revolutionary ideas.The third chapter analyzes the characteristics of the natural sciences in the Sun Yat-sen’s political philosophy. Through the study we know that when in writing a political program, Sun Yat-sen is not only borrowed a large number of the concepts of natural science, but had have a strong orientation of natural science methods. To build mode of society and make a boosting to "Man-made progress" from the idea of instrumental rationality is the reason that he take the means of violent revolution.Behind this "progress" of Sun Yat-sen is the gangster logic triggered by natural science:the factual judgment instead of the value judgments.The fourth chapter analyzes the relationship between nature science and Confucianism of cultural view of Sun Yat-sen. Through the study this paper thinks that the standard Sun Yat-sen treated science and Confucianism is "progress"."Progress" as a belief is generally respected in the Western cultural paradigm which treats science as center.Sun Yat-sen’s knowledge on the progress is vague, and sometimes think of it as a irresistible trend of the times, and sometimes insist the generation of scientific knowledge as the trigger momentum to the progress.Because of the rational-tools attitude, science and Confucianism were able to be integrated up in Sun Yat-sen’s thoughts.The fifth chapter discusses the implications of the Sun Yat-sen’s natural scientific thoughts:rational thinking to natural science knowledge obscured the light of "God" to support ethics.
