Analyze Of Contemporary New Imperialism’s Nature

In the1970s, the world of contemporary capitalism has entered a new period, the international monopoly capitalism. But in its essence, the nature of capital proliferation is still not a change. Therefore we can clearly say that the neo-imperialism is the return of the classical imperialism. This paper aims to explore the origin of new imperialism, and basic characteristic and the practice of the ideology of neo-imperialism, and then try to summarize the nature of neo-imperialist and end-result. There are five parts which are as follows:The first part is introduction. Mainly describes the basis and significance of topics, followed by analysis the status quo of the new imperialism from both domestic and international aspects, and finally the paper introduces innovations and research methods.The second part is the causes of new imperialism. From the four aspects of trying a new generation of imperialism, the needs of the international monopoly capitalism, the enormous strength of United States after world war ii, the traditional American position challenged and terrorist attacks. These four factors linked together, mutual support and common contributed to the generation of new imperialism.The third part is the basic characteristics of the new imperialism. This section is the core of the paper, also innovations. In contrast to Lenin "imperialism is the highest stage of capitalism", the "new features" of the new imperialism is that economic exploitation, political intervention, cultural infiltration and military threats aggression.The fourth part is the practice of the new imperialist ideology. In practice, the new imperialism is that their identity will not be active, always in various high-sounding slogans to hide its true purpose, the main practical means are:end of ideology, advocated universal values and human rights over sovereignty.The fifth part is the nature of new imperialism. New imperialism is essentially new hegemony and new power politics, the new root cause of the war and inequality, will eventually collapse to rush.The final part is the conclusion. The financial crisis broke out again, only to prove the failure of the new theories of imperialism, new imperialism theory can’t save the decadent capitalist system, that only socialism is the only way out of mankind.
