Study Of Contemporary Farmers' Interest Expression Mechanism In Our Country

Interest plays a critical role in human life. Interest is the basis, precondition and driver of social development, and also it links to each human social activity. All the human social activities stem from interest pursuit. Self-accomplishment is the main function of the interest, and it is a process which includes interest articulation, interest establishment, interest satisfaction and interest integration. In these four parts of interest self-accomplishment, interest articulation plays the most important role. Meanwhile, interest articulation directly linked to government policy, social stabilization and healthy socialist market economy. However, in the situation of gradually divided stakeholder and the impacts of history, regulation and self factors, China’s current peasants have many problems in the operational process of peasant’s interest articulation mechanism. The solutions have to be in the condition of protecting the fundamental interests of peasant to perfect the mechanism which is in line with the China’s Characteristics.According to the analysis of Chinese peasant’s interest articulation mechanism, firstly, this paper discusses the issue from positions of concepts, related theories and political operation. And then to further explore the defects of Chinese peasant’s interest articulation mechanism and how the problems formed which itemize with subject, object, channel, approach and other respects. Last but not the least, according to the results of analysis, the paper puts forward the theories of how to perfect the mechanism of Chinese peasant’s interest articulation which is expressed from to perfect democratic participation mechanism, reform citizen complaint system, enlarge the influence of mass media, rebuild the peasant association organization and improve peasant’s awareness of self-interest articulation.
