The booming Internet is drastically impacting all aspects of the social life，provided the newenvironment for political participation, perfected the ways of political participation. Politicalparticipation is the core of modern democracy, but also one of the important symbol of politicalcivilization and political modernization. Therefore,it has positive significance to guarantee citizen’spolitical rights and benefit,as well as push forward the process of democracy by studyingpolitical participation issues in the Internet Age.Political participation make direct democracypossible,reduce the cost of political participation and provide a modern platform for civicgrowth.But cyber-political participation is apt to be irrational and may not be restrained bymorals system.Worth still,it will present a threat to the national security.Therefore,the importantissue that how to keep this participation developing orderly comes to the government and citizen.Carding the concept of cyber-political participation firstly this thesis sorts out the advantageand disadvantage of it by studying the origin and evolvement of this participation in our countryand provides some suggestion on cyber-political participation.
