Milan Kundera has published ten novels, these novels are related to thecharacter’s loneliness or solitude consciousness, From the angle of lonelyconsciousness, this thesis tries to probe Milan Kundera how to describe thecharacters’ rich inner world, their feelings for the things around and the multiplereasons for the sense of loneliness of different connotations.First of all, according to Kundera, loneliness is the echo of God’s laughter. Fromthe early two novels joke and farewell waltz, this article analyzes Kundera’s writingabout double the difficult situation of love and hate with survival. And thus we cansee a fact. From the creation of the beginning, he has unique concerns and thoughts ofthe loneliness of human existence. Secondly, loneliness and “existence” existsimultaneously. This paper aims to analyze of Kundera creative maturity of threeworks: Laughter and Forgotten Records, Unbearable Lightness of Being andImmortal. This paper analyzes the characters in the novel reflects the presence of astrong sense of loneliness, and thus the desire to break free out of consciousness. Inthese three works, Kundera took a big step forward for the writing and thinking of theawareness of human loneliness.Again, the loneliness performance identity confusionand regression nothingness. This paper focuses on which are the identity andignorance. Lonely consciousness was extended and deepened in exploration of theconnotations of “return” and “identity”.By in-depth analysis of Kundera’s novels, this thesis research the commonlonely sense reflected in his works of different period, the paper will explore thecharacters exist loneliness, defamiliarization and desertification survival status. Thisarticle will dig the topic implications and ideological content of these works, thusreflects the writers’ profound sense of crisis on self-integrity. We can understandKundera creation of a deep sense of social responsibility and a strong humanitarianspirit.
