With the international condition occurred a fundamental transformation from50decades of20century, west historical academic realm changed profoundly. For example, on the hand of a writing of world history, the traditional Euro-centrism had fallen behind with times. In this situation, in the leading with Geoffery Barraclough, a group of historians advocated a new idea in the realm of world history in time. It called global historical view. This historical theory respected every civilization of different areas in world history. It put each civilization of human history on a big stage of the development history of human equally, and discussed the roles which they acted and the contribution which they made objectively for the aim that reflected the real processes of world history development.L. S. Stavrianos is the first generational practitioner of global historical view. He made a very important role to builds and popularizes this history theory. Meanwhile, because Stavrianos is the first generational writer of global history, he got the large and authentic accomplishments in this realm. And the standards about the writing of global history which he created have a profound influence for historians study in this realm later. The studies on Stavrianos and his global historical view are being paid more attention in our country and foreign countries now. However, the insight of studies main focuses on the objective attitude to see the world and the anti-traditional manner to write history. His mind of globalization has been studied little. So, this thesis will put hands from the conception of globalization, expressing Stavrianos’s thought of world history of globalization through contacting points which treat world history as a process of human globalization. From this, this thesis will fill up accomplishments about Stavrianos in our country and foreign countries.This thesis is divided five parts in all. They are introduction, the global historical mind of Stavrianos, the development system of global history, the global historical view and Euro-centrism, and epilogue.The first part of this thesis is introduction. It mainly introduces the meaning of this thesis, and the study situation on Stavrianos’s global historical view in our country and foreign countries. The second part is chapter one of the thesis. It mainly research Stavrianos’s global historical view from the whole. And drawing a skeleton of global history of Stavrianos through macro-study to explains the process how Stavrianos built a world history to a global history. The third part is chapter two of this thesis. It mainly discusses the development system of global history. In detail, it analyzes how developed about the world history of globalization which created by Stavrianos. The forth part is chapter three of this thesis. It mainly discusses the relationship between global historical view and Euro-centrism. This chapter, which uses the origin and evolvement of Euro-centrism as a cue, shows the arisen reason of Euro-centrism, and reveals the biases and defects of the historical theory which controlled European historical realm ever. Moreover, this part also discusses that global historical view criticized Euro-centrism in20century. And among these critics, as a representative with Stavrianos’s global historical view, it criticizes Euro-centrism and points out the weakness in Stavrianos’s global historical view. The last part is epilogue. It summarizes Stavrianos’s global historical view in whole again, and points out the merit and weakness of it.
