Anime Game Practitioners Living Conditions Study In East China

The development of ACG (Animation, Comic, Game) industry has become a new economic growth point all around the world. In the background of improving "soft power", ACG industry has made great progress during the past decade. But the overall condition is not ideal with a good deal of problems in all respects. Particularly, the quality of products can not come up to expectations and still remain a certain distance from that of countries in the mainstream of ACG industry. One of the consequences resulted from the lagging behind of the development of ACG industry is the influence on the survival conditions of employees in ACG industry. Retribution of employees in ACG industry is not in proportion to their labor output and instability of jobs becomes normality. The decline of the whole industry also influences the anime education. Explorations of the talent cultivation mode that adapts better to the industry needs are in an urgent need.This paper discourses at the beginning a questionnaire survey on "Survival Conditions of Employees of ACG Industry" which was conducted in tens of ACG companies in Eastern China including Nanjing, Wuxi, Shanghai and so on. There are266copies of valid questionnaires received in a total sum of300copies. Raw data that is genuine and believable is sorted into more than10groups and produces strong evidence for the writing of this paper. Through investigations and analyses of current situations of employees of ACG industry, information about the current situation of companies, proportion of professionals, treatment of employees and labor turnover in this industry has been acquired. Further, on the basis of that, comb and conclusions on the problems concerning cultivations, needs, and development trends of talents have been made. It is expected to be helpful to the rationalization of talent cultivations.Through investigations and researches of the current situations of employees of ACG industry, reference value has been provided in aspects concluding sound developments of domestic ACG industry and education, formulations of the corresponding policies and regulations, enterprise operations, individual developments of employees and objectives of undergraduates.
